4/3 Alert: Severe threat will increase

As the day wears on there will be some breaks in the clouds. A very dynamic atmosphere is set up ac cross the region and Super Cell thunderstorms (rotating) will likely form in some areas. This should increase the chance for damaging winds, hail and even tornadoes. Please stay alert to news and radio as watches and warnings are likely to be posted in the later afternoon.
