Severe Storms Possible Today
After a beautiful weekend we will have a strong front coming through the area this evening and overnight. Preceding this front will be record or near record warmth in the mid and upper 80s. The sharp contrast in temperatures is a focus line for strong to severe storms. The biggest threat will be high winds and hail, but isolated tornadoes are not out of the question. The biggest threat time will be between 5pm tonight and 1am tomorrow morning.
Unfortunately this is a signal to colder temps for the rest of the week. There is even a chance of some snow Thursday night in parts of the region!
All for now.
