Adding the possibility of Isolated Tornadoes to the risk of severe today. Conditions seem favorable for isolated tornadoes as well as hail and local high winds. The risk of Flooding Rains continues.

3/28 Severe Storms and Flooding Rains
Rain will become or continue moderate to heavy today, with flooding a distinct possibility. As warmer air gets involved and a cold pool of air comes overhead today, expect isolated severe thunderstorms with the main threat being hail, though isolated tornadoes are not out of the question. Areas affected by the severe storms will be everywhere east of the mountains.

3/23 Severe Storms Possible Southern Virginia
Severe storms are possible today in southern Virginia as well as heavy rain for most of the state. The Storms will have the capability of producing isolated tornadoes and hail as well as high winds.
